The Spunky Valentine stamp set is available on line or is included in Jazzy Jill's Technique Video for the month.
I chose to use the new Spunky Valentine stamp set, glittering my hearts up with Gypsy Red Velvet Glitter on top of a dry embossed background - making a "hearty" background! I stamped Spunky twice - once on cardstock, colored with Copics and the other on cardstock covered with Super Adhesive Sheet then Snow White flocking, stamping the image directly on top of the flocking. I cut out the white stripes and stuck them to the colored image, giving some fluffy dimension!
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Red Apple, before removing the die after cutting and embossing, I distressed it with a little Angel Pink Memento ink:

ReplyDeleteHi Shona,
ReplyDeleteCute card & I like your slick trick of stamping right on top of flocking. I have trouble trying to spread the glue into area needed so this will be a BIG help for me. Cutting things out isn't any problem but with a shaky hand spreading the glue only into areas I want is very difficult. So I'm filing your trick away in my brain for future use.
Thanks for the great idea & thank you also for sharing your cute card with us. Linda Gibb
I have to smile every time I see Spunky. He is so stinking cute. He made a great Valentine card. Rocco must be out in the woods or around some trees - can't wait to see the rest of the card. thanks for sharing.
