MY FIRST PUBLISHED ARTICLE!

I apologize for being MIA over here for a while. This last month has been so hectic. Knowing it was going to be crazy, good old Donna suggested I take a couple of months off from my designer duties over at Sparkle N Sprinkle. It was definitely a wise decision. I have been doing very little stamping, except for the graduation cards, as they were needed - two minutes before they left the house - not even time to take a photo!!

Anyway, yesterday the mailman brought me a lovely surprise. A complimentary copy of the August/September issue of Scrap and Stamp Arts.

My article  "Fun with Flocking" appears on page 31. Here it is - I hope you can read it?

The Tulip Trio card is the one that I sent to Edith!

Till next time,

Big hugs,

Shona

  4. Oh WELL DONE! I will be looking for this magazine & hope it is still a 'physical one' as so many are becoming online only. Enlarged the photos and could read the how-to's just fine. Beautiful cards and a stunning technique. I especially loved the tulip card and what a beautiful thought for Edith too. I'm so proud of you for being published again. You're just awesome!!! Enjoy your summer, and rest up if you can. TFS & Hugs

  14. Hi Shona, glad you liked the circle card. The image had been stamped - months ago. I had to find a die that would fit the space of the c/stock and yet not cut off too much of the image. The circle only removed a tiny portion at the bottom. I like making shaped cards, but generally don't think of it in time! I have been looking for this magazine..not finding in local stores. Is this perhaps an online publication????Hope all is well up in NJ, and not too hot, as it is here in SC. Thanks for your visit & sweet comment. Hugs
