Let it Snow

Hi there and welcome back to my blog! Today I have a glittery card for the Holly and Ivy Challenge. This is always an anything goes challenge as long as it is Christmas - and I think we should all get started on those cards - Christmas is fast approaching!!!

I started by taping a piece of double-sided tape to the card base. I peeled back the protective backing.

I had some masks from old die cuts that I had used for another project, using the Recollection dies, so placed those on top of the sticky surface.

Blue Haze microfine glitter was then burnished onto the remaining sticky surface.

The snowflakes were all peeled off the panel and then I applied Cloud Nine microfine glitter to the snowflakes.

I cut the Tonic Let it Snow sentiment twice out of light blue and once from a darker blue, gluing them together, to get more of a dimension.

This was then taped down using narrow double sided tape. White and blue organdy ribbon was then tied in a bow on the left hand side of the card to finish it off!

Hope you enjoyed my share today? Please visit the rest of my teammates over on the Holly and Ivy blog and get some more inspiration and join in the challenge.

Till next time,

Shona
