Discover Beauty Everyday!

Hello there,

Today, I'd like to share with you my last June Reveal card, showcasing the lovely Colorful Cosmos Set 899.

I started by stamping the image, using the Stamp Platform, with Hybrid Black Shadow ink.

I then made a little palette, with an acrylic block, for the Nuvo Aquaflow markers, and applied them to the image using a waterbrush.

Once this was colored, the self adhesive Tonic balloon shaker die case was placed over the top of the image, with some "relic" Suzie Weinberger's Mini Mosaics placed inside.

I made the frame by die cutting on the Tangerine a piece of self-adhesive craft foam and a piece of the Ivory Bouquet Craft Perfect Specialty paper, using the Sizzix Dotted Ovals dies. I then sponged on a little Custard Cream embellishment mousse.

The sentiment was stamped in Black Shadow ink and was die cut with the same dotted ovals die along with another piece of the craft foam, which cut beautifully with the Tangerine.

I stamped three single flowers directly on to the foam sheet using the Hybrid Diamond ink Rubber Duck from the Tropical Fruit set. These were then fussy cut using the 5" mini scissors and were then sponged with the Custard Cream embellishment mousse.

Nuvo deluxe adhesive was applied to the flower centers and Butterscotch glitter was added.

I stamped some stems at the bottom of the easel card base with Lime Burst from the same Hybrid ink set.

The card was then assembled using Craft Perfect foam pads. Some Key Lime Jewel drops and Yellow bird Glitter drops were then added.

Here is my finished easel card.

Below is a list of products that I used in my card.

Nuvo Hybrid Black Shadow Ink

Happy Fourth of July!

Hi there,

Today I'd like to share another Sparkle N Sprinkle June Reveal card, using both the fun little Baxter Pup Stamp Set 901, along with the digi version of the set.

I began by printing out little Baxter and after fussy cutting with my 5" mini scissors, I added Versamark ink both from the pad and the Versamarker pen to apply Clear Detail to the flag and his nose before I heat embossed.

I printed out the flag from the digi set. Cloud Nine and Gypsy Red were added to the white and red stripes with the Nuvo Medium Glue Pen. Cloud Nine was applied to the stars with the Quickie Glue Pen.

I stamped Baxter in Black Shadow Hybrid Ink on the stamp platform, for good coverage.

He was then colored with various Nuvo alcohol markers. After fussy cutting, Elephant Gray flocking was applied to his muzzle with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Craft Perfect Mirror Card Ruby Red and Cobalt Blue were used for the card base. A red shiny banner was die cut from the red piece first on the Tangerine.

Then this was layered to the Cobalt Blue and then a white card base.

The sentiment was stamped, using the stamp platform, in Nuvo Empire Blue ink and before it dried, this was heat embossed with Clear Detail.

I used the curve of the banner die to cut the sentiment out.

The sentiment and banner were added to the top right hand corner and some Double Denim Crystal drops were added above the sentiment. Both Baxters each got a googly eye using the Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

The little stamped Baxter was attached with Craft Perfect Foam Pads and the bigger digi version was attached with an action wobble, so that he could wave his flag!!

Here is the list of the products that I used to make my card:

Baxter Pup Set 901
Clear Detail Embossing Powder (EP280)
Nuvo Alcohol Markers: Plum Tomato,
Ultramarine, Hay Bale
Craft Perfect Mirror Card: Ruby Red, Cobalt Glaze
La-La Land Craft Die: Flag Banner
Mounting Tape

Googly Eyes

Won't You come in to my Garden?

Hi there,

Today I'm here to share with you my first June Reveal card. I used the sentiment and rose from the My Wild Rose Set 898, along with a stencil and some of the new Nuvo Mica Mist Silver Smoke to create my card today.

I actually only used the sentiment and the single rose from the set as I wanted to try out the new Nuvo Mists with a stencil. I began with spraying the Silver Smoke Mica Mist through a stencil (TCW Mini Butterfly Meadow) on to white cardstock. These Mica Mists have a lovely pearly sheen to them.

I then tried it on black cardstock.

Since I couldn't decide which version I liked better, I decided to use both. I tore the white piece diagonally and attached it on top of the black version. I used 1/4" Tear-ific Tape around the edges and some Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive along the ripped edge to make sure it would lie flat and match up well.

I used the left-over sprayed piece of the black cardstock for the sentiment, as I loved the mottled look. So the piece of scrap cardstock was put in the Stamp Platform and stamped with Nuvo Clear Mark and was then heat embossed with White Detail.

I then ran it through the Tangerine with the Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles die.

I then stamped the single rose from the set on to pink card with Nuvo Clear Mark ink and heat embossed with Black Detail. This was then fussy cut using the 5" Mini Scissors.

The card was assembled with the sprayed background being layered to the same pink cardstock that I stamped the rose on. Then the sentiment was added with Craft Perfect Foam Pads. Two little pink roses were then tucked in behind the sentiment and the stamped rose.

Nuvo Crystal Drops Party Pink were then added to the little flower ends.

... and that finished off my card for today.

Here is a list of the products that I used for my card, most of which can be found in the Sparkle N Sprinkle store:

My Wild Rose Set 898
White Detail (EP298)
TCW Stencil Mini Butterfly Meadow
Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles
2 roses
