So, on with my project! I love this new delicate daisy stamp and the sentiment that I chose to use along with the image inspired me to use a dark colored card base. I heat embossed the image with Belgian Cream, then bleached out the leaves and petals of the flowers.

I then took a bottle of Dimensional Glue and started to "paint" inside the rounded petals and applied Bubble Gum Glitter. The longer shaped petals were colored with Mauvelous Glitter. I applied Mega Tack Glue to the centers of the flowers and when it was dry, I applied glass beads which I had colored with some Alcohol Inks. As you can see from the photo below, it added some nice dimension.

Full directions for the project can be found here, if needed. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you check out the inspiration from the rest of the design team. Remember to leave a little love in the form of a comment on each of the posts to be eligible to be the Grand Prize Winner!

  10. Love this one, Shona, and so happy to see you 'back at your post'. Hope your family visit was just wonderful (and may be that it is still going on). I really like this floral stamp and your techniques used on this dark background are stunning. The glitter & color fairly leaps off the card...I have never done the bleaching and this is really an amazing effect combined with the glitter. Awesome! TFS & Hugs
