Hi there and welcome back. I am really scraping to keep up with everything right now, and it is so hot, that I am having to water every day. Our grass is fried! Absolutely no rain in sight! To be honest my life feels like it is a tangle right now, so that was what inspired my card for today for the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge, which is always anything goes. I hope my card will inspire you to play along!
The alligator stamp and the sentiments are both from old Sparkle N Sprinkle sets. They were stamped in Versafine Claire Nocturne ink and I used watercolor pencils to color.
Snow white flocking was applied on top of glue for the fuzzy part of the hat and Glossy Accents were applied to the lights.
The panel was layered on to the red patterned paper and then on to the card base.

What a fun Christmas card Shona. I love the image. It’s been very hot in UK recently, but it has been a welcome relief to be cooler with the occasional shower the last few days.
ReplyDeleteFun Christmas card Shona- wouldn't want to mess with that alligator! As Liz says, it's been very dry here too, at least it's a bit cooler now even if still no rain to speak of!
