Hi there and thanks for stopping by my blog! The weather is looking more spring-like around here, so I had took the opportunity to get in to my hives to check my bees yesterday! Thought you'd like to see a photo of one of my queens? So Queen Bee is my March header!
Today I have a card for the Holly and Ivy Challenge, which is always anything goes. I had a piece of designer paper lying on my desk which had a chunk taken out of the corner of it, so decided to use it up on my card today.
He was die cut with the Sizzix die after being colored with Copics.
He was placed in the bottom corner of the card front and a ribbon was added to finish off the card for today.
My Mum and Dad just arrived yesterday (along with one of my brothers and his wife), so I forgot to post this yesterday! We are going to North Carolina this week for another brother's son's wedding and will be back next week. Mum and Dad will stay here for three months.
Hope I've inspired you to play along in our anything goes challenge for the Holly and Ivy?
Till next time,
Cute snowman and clever design to use that lovely DP- always so satisfying to do this!ReplyDelete
Your bee header is gorgeous- you always take such wonderful photos.
Enjoy the wedding and lovely long visit from your parents.
Don't you just love when a design uses up a piece of left over paper like that? Shona, your skiing snowman is darling, and I love the use of a partial die cut to bring out out "snow-ball-like" shape for the snowman! Great Card! hugs, deReplyDelete
