Merry Kiss-mass!

Hi there,

Today I am here with my card for Christmas at Sweet Stampin', where we have the optional twist of using critters.

I had recently received this cute stamp and die set as a freebie with a magazine and I decided to use one of the adorable images and the snow globe die for my card.

After stamping the image in Versafine Claire Morning Mist, I used my Watercolor Pencils from Stampin' Up to color the cute little couple. The mistletoe berries were given a spot of Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops.

I cut the card front with the biggest of the Tutti Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles and the globe die at the same time.

I die cut the globe again from wood grain paper and put it in the negative space. The sentiment from the stamp set was stamped below the globe.

A piece of acetate was attached behind the globe and then mounting foam was stuck around the back of the globe to create the shaker.

A little spoon of Shaved Ice was placed on top of the image and then the globe piece was turned over and attached on top of the image.

The shaker panel was then taped on to a white card base to finish the card.

Here you can see the Crystal Drop Mistletoe berries. I think this card will be going to my newly-wed son and daughter-in-law!

Hope you've enjoyed my share today? I hope this has inspired you to get out those critter stamps and enter our challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'. Below is a list of the products used in my card:
